Within the framework of Phase II of the consultancy on needs assessment in the ROCRAM-CA countries, for the ratification and implementation of the London Protocol, virtual workshops were held between January 20 and 22, with the participation of representatives of the entities and institutions linked to the management of discharges in the countries involved in this phase of the project.

The activities were coordinated through COCATRAM’s Executive Directorate and were supported by the project’s IMO consultants, Gildardo Alarcón and Enrique Vargas.

The objective of the workshop was to assist the maritime administrations of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras in the formation of working groups and the preparation of roadmaps for the ratification and implementation of the London Protocol.
