In Managua, Nicaragua, the Supervisory Committee held its scheduled working session today, August 20, in preparation for the 126th Meeting of its Board of Directors, which will take place tomorrow.
During the session, key institutional management issues were addressed, including a review of the agenda and previous agreements, an analysis of the financial and budget execution report as of June 30, 2026, the status of contributions, and budget reprogramming.


The meeting also reviewed compliance with the 2026 Work Plan (POA), progress on updating internal regulations following the revision of the Charter, requests for support for regional cooperation, and the institution’s participation in recent events.
The meeting concluded by reaffirming the commitment to strengthening COCATRAM’s management and coordination in support of the development of the maritime and port sector in the Central American region.
