The Executive Directorate of the Central American Maritime Transport Commission – COCATRAM held a coordination meeting with officials from the Guatemalan Maritime Authority (Digemar Mdn) to advance preparations for the Seminar-Workshop for Latin American Maritime Authorities (ROCRAM and ROCRAM-CA), which will take place from July 27 to 29 at the facilities of the Guatemalan Ministry of National Defense.
During the meeting, both institutions reviewed the logistical and organizational aspects related to the event, including the scheduling of meetings, protocol matters, the work agenda, and other elements necessary to ensure the event’s success.
This coordination is particularly significant due to the participation of Dr. Jose Matheickal, Director of Technical Cooperation and Implementation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), whose presence will contribute to strengthening regional initiatives aimed at developing the maritime and port sectors.
