In an effort to strengthen regional cooperation, the Central American Maritime Transport Commission (COCATRAM) held a virtual meeting with the Central American Integration team of the Vice Presidency of El Salvador. The meeting aimed to provide input for a report documenting COCATRAM’s impact and significance in the region.
Key issues related to COCATRAM’s strategic role in developing the Central American maritime and port sectors, as well as its contribution to regional integration processes, were addressed during the meeting.
Representing COCATRAM were Executive Director Otto Noack; Administrative and Financial Director Marcela Sánchez; and Director of Training and Education Hugo López. Carlos Salgado, a representative of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), also participated.
