The Central American Commission for Maritime Transport (COCATRAM) in collaboration with the National Navy of El Salvador, is organizing the 3rd meeting of the Central American Network of Maritime Port Women (REMPORT) in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador, on April 15 and 16, 2024.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Ingrid Figueroa, Executive Director of the SG-SICA, who gave a welcome message to the delegates of the network; as well as the Technical Secretary of COMMCA-SICA who explained the regional action from COMMCA for the empowerment and development of women in the SICA region.
The REMPORT Network, was created on April 6, 2018, to strengthen capacities on gender equity issues within the maritime-port sector and make visible the maritime port women of the region, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal No. 5.
