The Central American Maritime Transport Commission (COCATRAM) successfully held its CXXIII Ordinary Board Meeting, during which regional authorities reviewed the main institutional advances and addressed strategic issues for the integration and strengthening of the maritime-port sector in Central America.

The day began with the formal opening of the meeting and the review and approval of the agenda. Subsequently, the members of the Board proceeded to sign Minutes 74 and 75, corresponding to previous sessions.
As part of the agenda, the Oversight Committee Report was presented, followed by the Financial Report by Ms. Marcela Sánchez, which included the presentation of the financial statements, the budget execution as of September 30, 2025, and an update on the status of contributions from member countries.
The 2023 Audit Report was also released, and the Board proceeded with the selection and signing of the audit for the years 2024 and 2025. In terms of planning, the 2026 Budget Proposal and the 2026 Annual Operating Plan were presented by COCATRAM Executive Director Otto Noack. The session also addressed the update of the Non-Regulatory Agreement with Puertos del Estado de España and the CPN budget request.

One of the most significant moments was the presentation of an award to Mr. Bayardo Pagoada for his years of service as a member of the Board of Directors. This tribute was made in recognition of the fact that, as of the last day of December 2025, he will conclude his duties as Undersecretary of Transportation.
Finally, the members of the Board agreed that the next meeting will be held in Honduras, formally closing this important working session.
