Today, Tuesday, September 29, the 31st Meeting of the Committee and Information Center Administrators of the Latin American Agreement on Port State Control of Ships began in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
On this occasion, the Honduran General Directorate of Merchant Marine is hosting this important regional meeting, which brings together Maritime Authorities from across Latin America, as well as observers and special guests.
The Central American Commission for Maritime Transport (COCATRAM) is represented by its Executive Director, Otto Noack, who is participating in this forum for dialogue and cooperation. The meeting will take place throughout the week, concluding on Friday, October 2.
During the meeting, participants will address issues related to the harmonization of Port State Control inspection procedures, strengthening cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the countries of the region.
