A virtual coordination meeting was held between the Executive Directorate of the Central American Commission on Maritime Transport (COCATRAM) and representatives of the General Directorate of Maritime Territory and Merchant Marine (DIRECTEMAR) of the Chilean Navy.
The meeting focused on exchanging information and strengthening coordination between the two institutions, with a view to coordinating technical cooperation initiatives and extending their scope to the ROCRAM-CA framework.
During the meeting, participants also discussed activities planned for the fourth quarter of 2026 as part of joint efforts to promote cooperation and capacity building in the regional maritime sector.
Participants included Otto Noack, Executive Director of COCATRAM; and Mauricio Parra and Enrique Vargas, representing DIRECTEMAR.
