1. LOCATION: Puerto San Lorenzo Honduras its located at the Golfo de Fonseca at 13º24´00´´ and 87º25´30´´on the southern coast of Honduras, by the Pacific Ocean.
2. OVERVIEW: Puerto San Lorenzo and is also known as Puerto de Henecán. It should be noted that the port can be accessed by boats that reach up to 10.5 meters, through a 32-kilometer channel, bordered by mangroves.
3. MAXIMUM SIZE: Channel: Depth 9.0 m. (MLLW).
Break bulk: LOA 200 m., draft 9.45 m. (MLW).
Ro-Ro: LOA 200 m., draft 9.45 m. (MLW).
Tankers: LOA 200 m., draft 9.45 m. (MLW).
Gas: LOA 200 m., draft 9.45 m. (MLW).
4. TRAFFIC: Port handles primarily containers, car carriers, clean products, fuel oil and import of LPG/LNG. Some break bulk and dry bulk cargoes handled.
5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory for vessels of 300 g.t. and over. Arrangements to be made via Agent.
6. TUGS: 1×1,300 h.p. One tug compulsory for vessels of 300 g.t. and over. Two tugs compulsory for 10,000 g.t. and over, unless equipped with bow thruster, when only one required.
7. BERTHS:
-Shaped concrete pier, 295.85 m. long, with four berths, (two berths either side of the pier).
