1. LOCATION: Puerto Quetzal is located on the Pacific coast, in the municipality of San José, Escuintla Department, Republic of Guatemala at the geographic coordinates of 13 ° 55´00.0382 of North latitude and 90 ° 47´03.7361 of West longitude.
2. OVERVIEW: It is a multipurpose port protected by two breakwaters, the west (1,1140m) and the east (307m) an entrance width to the maneuvering dock of (340 m) and 14 meters deep.

4. TRAFFIC: The port handles the following cargoes: containers, solid bulk, liquid bulk, general cargo, Ro-Ro and passengers.
5. PILOTAGE: It is the mandatory service for docking, sailing, mooring, internal movements, and any maneuver inside and outside the Puerto Quetzal shelter area.
6. TUGS: 4 Tugboats available. For mooring or unmooring, if the ship is greater than 300 meters in length, 3 tugboats are used, either in the Main Dock, or in the Private Terminals that are located

11. WATER: Available at the Commercial Dock and Cruise Terminal.
