1. LOCATION: Commercial port lies on the river banks between the City of Tuxpan and the sea. Port is 250 km. NE of Mexico City on the Gulf of Mexico coast.
2. OVERVIEW: Port comprises river berths and four offshore loading buoys. Main cargoes are dry and liquid bulk including LPG. Ship-breaking and repair activities also take place on the river.
3. MAXIMUN SIZE:
Break bulk: Depth 13.0 m. (CD).

Ro-Ro: Depth 13.0 m. (CD).

Facilities: Multipurpose terminal, handles containers, automobiles and break bulk. Total area 85.75 ha. with 15.6 ha. available for containers, 5,000 sq.m. CFS, and patio with capacity for 2,050 vehicles. Operating capacity 11,600 TEU.
Handling equipment includes: 8 RTGs, 30 trailers, spreaders and 240 reefer points. None
