1. LOCATION: 09° 22.33′ N, 079° 53.28′ W. Coco Solo. Bahia Manzanillo, 6.5 km. NE of the north entrance to the Panama Canal. Coco Solo is situated on the east side of the bay.

2. OVERVIEW: Colon Container Terminal is a subsidiary of Evergreen Group of Taiwan. Annual handling capacity of the terminal is 3,300,000 TEU with 1,032 reefer points and high risk storage area for 400 TEU.

3. MAXIMUM SIZE: Break bulk:  Depth 12.0 m.

Containers:  Depth 16.5 m.

Passengers:  Depth 16.5 m.

Ro-Ro:  LOA 300 m., depth 14.0 m., draft 13.0 m. (MLW).

Tankers:  60,000 d.w.t., displacement 70,000 tons, LOA 260 m., beam 32.5 m., draft 12.5 m. (MLW).

4. TRAFFIC: Manage commercial cargo: Containers, general cargo, bulks, vehicles and passengers.

5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory for vessels over 100 g.t. and service required before entering the breakwater and up to the port facilities. Furthermore, vessels larger than 500 d.w.t. with LOA more than 20 m. must carry an AIS transponder. Pilots available throughout 24 hours.

6. TUGS:  Available to assist berthing. Contact Agent for arranging service

There are two container freight stations operational. Yard has 27.8 ha of paved storage for containers. CCT has a storage capacity of 45,000 TEU.

9. CRANES: eleven quay cranes and other yard equipment.

10. WASTE DISPOSAL: Available by barge or road tanker, dependent on berth.

11. SLOPS DISPOSAL: Available by barge or road tanker, dependent on berth.

12. WATER: Available at Berths No. 1 and 4.

13. FUEL: Available.

14. CHANDLERY: Available.
