1. LOCATION: Central southern coast of Grand Terre, Guadeloupe.

2. OVERVIEW: Pointe a Pitre is a medium size port. The city is the commercial capital of Guadeloupe, serving as the main port of call for cargo and passengers alike. The main seaport is the Port de Jarry located across the Bay of Cul-de-Sac Marin in the commune (municipality) of Baie-Mahault. It has one of the biggest container terminals in the Eastern Caribbean with a quay 600m long.

8. CRANES: 2×50 ton Post Panamax gantry cranes, 2×40 ton gantry cranes.

9. WASTE DISPOSAL: Provided by Port Authority on request from Agent. Drums are provided alongside the vessel during normal working hours.

10. SLOPS DISPOSAL:  A collection service is provided by a private company. Agent must advise requirements at least 24 hours in advance. Collection is made by tanker trucks, capacity 48–50 cu.m.

11. WATER: Available throughout 24 hours through Authority.

12. FUEL: Delivered by road tanker or barge.
