1. LOCATION: On the south coast of the country, close to Boca Chica, 15 n.m. EAST of Santo Domingo.
2. OVERVIEW: Purpose-built multimodal port Puerto Caucedo is one of the ports serving the capital, Santo Domingo. Port has a Free Zone and established a logistics centre.
3. MAXIMUM SIZE: Depth 13.5 m.
4. TRAFFIC: Handles containerized and Ro-Ro cargoes.
5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory for all vessels entering or departing the port and available throughout 24 hours.
6. TUGS: There are two tugs available (1×50 ton and 1×65 ton BP).
