1. LOCATION: Centrally on Venezuela's coastline, in Carabobo State, approximately 70 n.m. west of Caracas.
2. OVERVIEW: Venezuela's largest and multipurpose port.
3. MAXIMUM SIZE:
Draft 10.51 m.
Containers: Depth 10.66 m.
Ro-Ro: Depth 9.29 m.
Bulk: Depth 10.66 m.
Tankers: Draft 10.8 m.
Borburata: Tankers: 32,000 d.w.t., LOA 175 m., draft 9.45 m.
Venterminales: Bulk: Draft 10.66 m.
Tankers: 40,000 d.w.t., LOA 200 m., draft 10.66 m.
4. TRAFFIC: Handles dry and liquid bulk, general, containers and Ro-Ro.
5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory in the navigable waters south of Lat. 10° 34.0′ N and west of Long. 067° 57.0′ W.
6. TUGS: The use of tugs within the port is compulsory both for entering and leaving, as well as for manoeuvres in the port basin, for foreign flag ships over 300 tons. Two tugs are required for vessels of LOA 146 m. and over.

8. CRANES: 4 large mobile cranes (3 Gottwald, 1 Liebherr) capable of lifting up to 50 tonnes.
9. WASTE DISPOSAL: Service available.
10. SLOPS DISPOSAL: Service available.
11. WATER: Connections available on the quay for Berths No. 25–30. Vessels must supply their own hoses. Pumping rate 20 tonnes/hr. Fresh water also available by road tanker.
Every vessel of over 600 n.t. calling at Puerto Cabello, and then on to other ports in Venezuela, should arrange to take water only at Puerto Cabello in order to avoid double water dues.
12. FUEL: Available. Delivered by road tanker or barge. Contact Agent.
13. CHANDLERY: Available.
