1. LOCATION: On the SW coast of Dominica in the Caribbean Sea.

2. OVERVIEW: Port handles ferry and cruise vessels, break bulk, containers, general cargo and tankers.

3. MAXIMUM SIZE:

Depth 12.19 m.

Passengers:  Depth 12.19 m.

Tankers:  Draft 5.49 m. (7.62 m. with stern discharge).

Gas:  Draft 3.66 m.

4. TRAFFIC: Handles containerized cargo, break bulk and general cargoes and cruise vessels.

5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory for berthing all vessels greater than 100 g.t. and those calling at Woodbridge Bay (LPG) and available for anchorage on request.

6. TUGS: None.

8. CRANES: Small inter-island vessels can be discharged by 15 ton Lorain crane. One 55 ton American crane and one 27.5 ton Lorain crane are also available.

9. WASTE DISPOSAL: Collection service is available. Skips can be provided alongside upon request by Agent.

10. SLOPS DISPOSAL:  No facilities available.

11. WATER: Available alongside all berths at a cost of XCD 30.00 for 1,000 gals.

12. FUEL: Dieselene (gas oil) available in limited quantities ex-tank wagon at all berths. Other grades not available.

13. CHANDLERY: Provisions can be obtained.
