2. OVERVIEW: Operated by Freeport Harbor Company, a joint venture between Hutchison Ports and The Grand Bahamas Port Authority

4. TRAFFIC: Port handles cruise, Ro-Ro, bulk, break bulk and containerized cargo.
5. PILOTAGE: Compulsory for all vessels over 400 g.t. not carrying passengers and vessels over 200 g.t. carrying passengers.
6. TUGS: Freeport harbor area has two tugboat companies for assisting in berthing and unberthing.

8. CRANES: Currently no cranes based permanently in harbor area; however, mobile cranes can usually be made available. Shipowners should consult Agent before accepting heavy-lifts requiring shore facilities for discharge.
9. WASTE DISPOSAL: Collection service available. Drums or skips can be provided as requested alongside.
10. SLOPS DISPOSAL: Shore tanks, barges and tanker trucks are available through Sanitation Services
11. WATER: Fresh water available by pipeline in the harbor.
12. FUEL: Supplied by Buckeye Terminal by pipeline at tanker berths or by barge at anchor.
13. CHANDLERY: Available.
