SIEMPCA is a consultation site developed with official information from port terminals and authorities of the countries that make up the Central American Commission for Maritime Transportation, regarding the traffic of cargo, vessels and containers in the region.
The main objective of this system is to offer information on port traffic statistics in a permanent, timely, reliable and updated manner.
This site is a tool for the capture, integration, tabulation and presentation of information that allows the analysis of port statistics, containing all the processes, from the collection and processing of data to its homogenization, generating reports and publications on the web in portable formats, according to user demand.
COCATRAM manages the proper functioning of the system by monitoring its updating, transmission, administration, analysis and approval of the unified primary data, the equivalences of master codes, reports design, visualization generated from the sources themselves, in addition to exercising a function of supervision and assistance for its continuous improvement, in order to ensure the quality of the information.
